LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The dates for the 2008 Steve Shields Basketball Camps have been finalized. The Trojan coaching staff will host three sessions at the Jack Stephens Center, with each session featuring a morning mini-camp for kids entering grades kindergarten-3 and an afternoon session for children grades 4-12.

The three sessions will be held June 23-27, July 7-11 and July 14-18. Each session will feature a mini-camp for kids entering grades K-3 from 8 a.m.-10 a.m., followed by a regular camp session for children entering grades 4-12 from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Due to an NCAA mandated “dead period” students who have attended high school may not attend the final session, limiting it to children entering grades 4-9.

The cost of each session is $95 per camper for the mini-camp and $195 per camper for the regular camp. Each session will be held at the Jack Stephens Center, which is located on the UALR campus.

Registration for each session will be held on the first day of camp. Mini-camp registration will take place from 7:30-8 a.m., with registration for the regular camp session running from 10-10:30 a.m.
